Dolph Ziggler was standing backstage next to Mean Gene Ockerlund looking very smug and confident about his upcoming match against Evan Bourne. However, Mean Gene wanted to know why he was competiting tonight when tonight was supposed to be a celebration of Women's wrestling.

Dolph Ziggler: "Mean Gene, do you really need me to answer that question? C'mon man! Tonight is Ladies Night, and what do the ladies in this audience want to see? Women's wrestling, or the finest man ever to step inside the squared circle, with looks and a body equally as amazing as his talents? Ask yourself that question Mean Gene, and then you'll have the answer! I know Jersey girls, I've seen Jersey Shore! They can't wait to see me, so if you don't mind, I really need to get ready!"

Backstage:

As Mickie James made her way back through the curtain, she bumped into James Storm who congratulated her on her victory. Mickie thanked him, and then said that she was surprised to see him since his big match was only four weeks away.

James Storm: "Are you kidding me? I wouldn't miss this for the world! My three favourite things in this world are Beer, fighting and women. So women who can fight? Holy crap! All I need is a beer and I'm having the time of my life! Four weeks from tonight, down the road in New York City, I'm going to take Homicide, Christopher Daniels and CM Punk to hell, and I expect nothing less from you. Go get that Women's Grand Championship!"

Mickie hugged Storm and left, leaving Storm wondering where his beer was.

Now on the second rope, Natalya lifted Kim up for a Superplex, but Kim countered mid-air, landed on Neidhart and managed to get the upset three-count!

Backstage:

James Storm was shown standing at a refreshments booth backstage. Nobody seemed to be behind the counter, so Storm was banging on the counter top and asking for assistance in getting him an ice cold alcoholic beverage. Suddenly there was a voice that said, "Would you like a beer, sir?", and when Storm turned around, CM Punk was standing there and smashed a beer bottle across his head. As Storm laid on the ground, holding his face, Punk said, "I always told you that beer was bad for you, didn't I James?" and then walked away as someone ran in to check on Storm.

In the Arena:

Joey Styles and Steve Corino were getting ready to introduce the Main Event when suddenly Chris Jericho's music played in the arena. Jericho walked down to the ring with a very serious look on his face, hardly acknowledging the crowd.

Chris Jericho: "I'm sorry to come out here and interupt the event, but there's something that I need to say, and it needs to be said right now. Before that however, could I ask The Miz to join me in this ring. Don't worry, I'm not coming here to fight, I just want to talk.

After a short pause, The Miz's music played and the Undisputed C4 Champion made his way slowly to the ring. Miz never once took his eyes off of Jericho, looking as if he was trying to work out Jericho, trying to work out what he was up to. Miz eventually stepped through the ropes and told Jericho he was listening.

Chris Jericho: "You know what Miz? I've got to give you a lot of credit. In the road leading up to our match last month, you used some dirty tricks, hell, you even used an Irish Monster to try and get the advantage. You pulled so many desperate tricks out of your sleeves that I was sure that once I had you one-on-one, I would beat you... but I didn't. Straight up, no funny business, you beat me. Last month, you was the better man!

The Miz: "Well I'm glad you finally come to your sense, but surely you didn't come all this way, call me out here just so you can massage my ego, did you?"

Chris Jericho: "I want one more shot! Now that I know what I'm up against, I know for sure that given one more opportunity, that I can beat you Miz and take that Undisputed title away from you. Let me prove it to the world, let me prove it to you, but also let me prove this to myself that I am still the best in the world!"

The Miz: "Gee! Let me think about this Chris... ugh... NO! Why the hell would I just give you another shot at my title? You said it yourself, I beat you fair and square, one-on-one, in the middle of this very ring, I could throw in so many more cliché sayings, but the fact of the matter is that I beat you, I owe you nothing!"

Chris Jericho: "Miz, I didn't expect you to just give me another title shot, but I am willing to trade you for it. Next month, New York City, you give me one more shot at the Undisputed title, and if I win, then I've proved to everyone that I'm still the best in the world at what we do! But if I lose... then The Miz will not only be known as the Undisputed C4 Champion, but he'll also be known as the man who retired Chris Jericho!"

The crowd gasped as they couldn't believe what Jericho had just said, and neither could The Miz. A shocked look came across the face of the Champion, but then his trademark evil smirk returned.

The Miz: "Oh Chris! Chris Jericho! Well played. Bravo! You know me better than I thought you did. All I have to do is beat you one more time and you're gone? Gone forever? Oh you've got yourself a deal! February 18, Madison Square Garden, the place where I put to rest the career of Chris Jericho. I'll see you there!"

The Miz left the ring with a huge smile on his face, leaving Jericho wondering to himself whether he had made the right choice. At ringside, Joey Styles and Steve Corino couldn't believe what had just happened, but tried to re-group as the main event was next.

Women's Grand Championship
Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James vs. Gail Kim

» The three women slowly circled the ring until Beth made the first move and attacked Gail Kim, clubbing her across the back. Mickie James hit the ropes and ran straight at Beth, knocking her out of the ring with a Dropkick. Mickie then helped Gail Kim to her feet, but then threw her through the ropes and on top of Beth. Mickie climbed to the top rope and performed a Crossbody block, heading out of the ring and landing on both Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix which left no fan sitting down in the building!

» Gail Kim and Mickie James returned to the ring while the referee checked on Beth who was holding her arm and in quite some pain. Gail Kim crawled towards the corner, and as Mickie followed, Kim grabbed her tights and pulled her face first into the middle turnbuckle. Kim jumped to the top rope and hit a Springboard Crossbody. As Kim covered James, Natalya Neidhart slid into the ring and delivered a straight kick to Kim's face. Beth Phoenix then quickly returned to the ring and covered to pick up the victory.
