The Global Wrestling Alliance is a fictional brand of Professional Wrestling which began back in 2002. It was founded by Jack Stone and Ryan Neary who ran Global Championship Wrestling (GCW) and United Wrestling All-Stars (UWA) respectively. When Ryan decided to stop writing the UWA shows, Jack decided to merge the two brands together and form the Global Wrestling Alliance (GWA).
The GWA was ran for several years until early 2008 when Jack decided to stop writing as the schedule was becoming difficult to keep up, and with the "real world", it was too hard to find time to run the website.
Fast forward to 2011, and Jack is back in the seat again with the GWA as it is today. Rather than writing 11 shows a month, the GWA simply runs one show a month, which seems alot easier to cope with (what a surprise!).
Global Wrestling Alliance is written purely for entertainments purposes, no profit is made from the running of this website. All talent names are copyright of WWE, TNA, ROH or their respective owners.
